STAG Fantasy Football

After whats seemed to be an eternity the new Premier League season is almost upon us! If you're anything like me you've been sat around for the last 2 months twiddling your thumbs just longing to hear the sound of Niall Quinn commentating again ( Ok maybe not that far but still )

We're huge football fans here at STAG and we wanted to do something for the season ahead - So we've set up a Fantasy Football League for customers Via The Sun Dream Team

( I wasn't sure what images to put in this blog so heres two absolute gems of Dick Advocaat & Louis Van Gaal .. I don't know what they were for but i like 'em )

Now Fantasy Football is only fun when you're in a mini league right? You always go in aiming to win the 250k main prize, but after checking the main tables at the end of week 4 you realise you're already 400 points behind top spot, and all that hard work you put into a hilarious team name just doesn't seem worth it anymore.

Well heres our plan - We might not be able to give you 250k but we can give you free clothing!
We've still got to work out the details regarding prizes ect .. Perhaps we'll do prizes at the end of each Fantasy Football transfer window or something ? to keep things interesting - But we'll have final details soon.

Now I know you're all sat there thinking - What if a member of the STAG Team wins the league? We'll I don't think you've got much to worry about - I had Jozy Altidore as one of my strikers 2 seasons ago..You know.. Jozy Altidore ?! The guy who scored 1 goal in 31 Premier League games and who's greatest moment in a Sunderland shirt was a reaction to a Sergio Aguero goal.



The first Premier League game kicks off next week but I think you've got two weeks to register a team - We'll say thats the cut of point for entries into our league so you've not got long !

#STAGSelfie Instagram Competition

So yeah we've launched a blog - 

Now first things first - I'm just the designer so I apologise if my writing skills aren't up to a particularly high standard. That'll be saved for when the other guys get involved 

A blog is something we've thought about for a while - The idea behind this is to have a place where we can ramble about topics (in a good way) without being limited to 140 characters like Twitter. 

We also wanted it to be a place where customers could have an extra level of interaction not only about business related things, but also a place where we could upload unrelated stuff - like our office playlists.. I hope you all like Taylor Swift..Ha I kid ! ( Ok i'm totally not kidding )

Look out for more posts in the coming weeks but for now I better explain how you could win a £100 voucher to spend on our store
